401 – The truth about hard work

There’s no shortage of messaging telling us that if we want to succeed at something we have to “do the hard work.” I completely agree that nothing great is achieved without focused effort over a long period of time – nor do I think the majority of people believe they can reach their goals without putting in the word. What I DO believe is that when it’s time to sit down to do the work we don’t realize that it’s hard to actually dig in and GET TO WORK…why? Because we lie to ourselves and believe that it should be easier than it is.
