In this podcast I talk to Dave Black who aside from his impressive performance career, has been on the publishing side of the drum/music business for over 30 years.  Dave is not only the percussion acquisition editor at Alfred Music, but has also authored over 60 titles, many of which have been performed and recorded, including the best selling drum method book of all time – Alfred’s Beginning Drumset Method .  Dave broke new ground in the drum book publishing industry by offering the first book with a VHS tape and play-along tracks to accompany this method books, which had never been done before.
