635 – Motivation and Self-Doubt with Daniel Glass

Over the past few weeks I’ve felt frustrated, unmotivated and unfocused in the practice room. Typically, I call one of my drumming buddies and talk through it and come out of the conversation with a new idea, perspective or a much needed kick in the ass. This time was no different, but I wanted to share the conversation on the podcast. Daniel Glass and I have had success in our desired fields and both overcame adversity, naysayers and setbacks along the way (as does anyone who’s working towards any worthy pursuit) so I thought it would be helpful for us to share our stories of the ups and downs, while also hearing Daniel’s advice for getting out of our own way behind the drums.
