640 – Craig Macintyre: Never Rest on your Laurels

Craig Macintyre has been sustaining a successful career for decades but he works like someone who’s still looking for that one big break…a break that he had decades ago with Josh Groban, who he toured with for 5 years. See, Craig’s attitude is that the work never stops and there’s always someone out there gunning for your job, working harder than you or saying yes to gigs you’re saying no to. This attitude and hard work coupled with his well-rounded style behind the kit has kept Craig employed over the years with not only Groban but also Vertical Horizon , Colbie Caillat, Idina Menzel, Michael Penn, Katherine McPhee, Deana Carter and Seal. Then he got a call out of the blue in 2013 to join the Goo Goo Dolls, a gigs he’s held ever since.
