648 – Anwar Marshall: Learning the Lineage

Anwar Marshall has a style all his own, and that’s because he’s studied those who came before him. Growing up in a family of musicians he was immersed in a world of jazz, blues, R&B and everything in between. As a student of the lineage of music, Anwar has mastered the ability of taking what others have done, learning the ins and outs of it then developing it into his own style, and voice. This approach to both learning and applying has helped he create a sustainable career for himself.
