208 – Zach Danziger: The evolution of a player

Zach Danziger is a trail blazer and an innovator. In 1995 he was using and developing effects cymbals with Zildjian before there was a need for them and before anyone knew what they were for. Today he’s incorporating electronics and video into his drumming while evolving as a player and as a person. His life was changed after seeing Dave Weckl play in the 80’s and he poised to make his own impact on others by innovating on the drums and by challenging the status quo of sounds.

“You are an endless project…changing, evolving, surprising.” – James Patterson (Tweet this)

  • Growing up in a musical family
