047: Developing a well rounded practice routine

In this podcast I discuss how to develop a well rounded practice routine.  Often times I get questions from people asking me “What” they should be practicing, meaning, what type of things?  Should I be working on my independence?  Should I be working on my rudiments? Should I be working on my Jazz chops?  You get the idea….and the answer is YES!  You should definitely be working on all of those things, which can seem overwhelming without a system in place.  In this podcast I’ll explain the same practice routine that I’ve used over the years and it has worked really well!  I didn’t invent this type if practicing by any means, but I have tailored it to work with my specific needs, time retrains and goals. I hope that this helps you and gets you on your way to developing a well rounded practice routine!
