255 – Roundtable Discussion: Charting your own course, career transitions and not playing the comparison game

Throughout our lives we endure many transitions and whether they’re big or small, it can be difficult to adjust. Sometimes these transitions are conscious decisions and sometimes we’re forced to make a change for a number of reason, like, economic, social, personal, etc.

This roundtable discussion between me, Zack Albetta and Matthew Crouse takes you into our personal journeys, how and why we made the transitions, advice for anyone else making transitions and why comparing yourself to others is always going to be a losing battle. We break down my move from Philly to NYC (and impending move to San Francisco), Matthew’s choice to tour less and stay home with his wife and kids, and Zack’s recent move from LA to Atlanta and how he hit the ground running.
