Now that you’ve heard part 1 of Moving to a New City, its time to hit the ground running in your new town. You’ve done your homework, you’re prepared, you have money in the bank, and now what?  You have to start getting yourself known around town.  If people don’t know you, you can’t get gigs.

In this podcast I talk about the best ways to get on the music scene quickly after moving to a new city.  I’ve seen it happen 1,000 times: A person moves to a  new city and after 6 months hasn’t played one gig, hasn’t met any musicians and is contemplating moving back home. Please don’t do this!

Listen in as I give some simple ways to get yourself networking the the local music scene. All it takes is  a little work and some creativity.

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” – Albert Einstein
