073 – Mike Meadows: Becoming the Best Version of Myself

In this podcast I chat with my buddy Mike Meadows, who is best known for his work with Ben Kweller, Hayes Carll, and John Fullbright and others. Mike is also the inventor of the Black Swan drum and the co-owner of Swan Percussion.  While Meadows is often extremely busy, he is used to it being that he has been performing and touring since the age of 9.  As if that isn’t enough, mike is also a magician and hypnotist and has toured the country performing his talents at festivals and clubs throughout the country.  Most recently, Mike recorded 25 songs with the legendary songwriter Kris Kristofferson and is anticipating the release of that record and others that he has played on in the past few months.

“The poor man is not he who is without a cent, but he who is without a dream.” – Harry Kemp (Tweet this)
