050 – The DOs and DON’Ts of Gigging
After years of being in the music business there are few things that surprise me…I’ve pretty much seen it all. The one thing that still boggles my mind though is musicians behavior regarding gigs. Far too often people lose gigs or no longer get called for gigs and either can’t figure out why or know that it could have been avoided. Most reasons that people do and don’t get gigs have little to do with their playing and more to do with how they handle the gig. There are plenty of amazing drummers out there, but these DOs and DON’T will help you stand out in the crowd, increase your chances for success and put you in a position to be regarded as a professional musician.
