162 – Reverse engineering your goals

In this podcast I give a quick, bulleted list of how I reverse engineer the things I want in life: My goals, relationships, etc. Far too often people get bogged down and fearful of their goals because they don’t know where to start. This is understandable, especially if you’re planning on going down a road you’ve never been down before. Luckily, there’s reverse engineering – the process of looking at the finished product and working backwards to determine what steps need to be taken to achieve outcome.

I hope you find these steps easy to work with and that you’ll use them to create something, achieve something or improve your current situation.

Dream Cymbals: Dream Cymbals are a different kind of cymbal company because they keep it simple. Their approach is simple: Make high-quality, handcrafted cymbals and gongs and sell them for a reasonable price. PLUS, you an bring your old, cymbals (even if they’re cracked) and trade them in for a new dream cymbal. For every inch of cymbal you bring in, you get $1 off your cymbal. Have a broken 20″ crash? Trade it in for $20 off your next Dream Cymbal. The coolest part is they recycle the old, broken-down cymbals and use the material to make their crotales and crop circles.
